Memories are treasures we hold in our hearts

May is for memories.

Every year we take time in the month of May to stop and remember.

First, it's the month of Mother's Day. I was a Mother's Day baby. Many times in my life, my birthday and Mother's Day were on the same day. I always thought (and still do, really) that was so great!! I loved it when my mom's special day and my special day were the same...those were the best days.

Mom's are the best.

They so deserve a special day.

It doesn't really matter if you are a mom, had a mom, know a mom, have 2 legged or 4 legged 'kids', or if you are a mom-figure or had a mom-figure...mom's are the best.

And the memories I have of my mom, well, they are the best.

And then we get to the end of May.

Memorial Day.

And we stop and remember.

We remember that the freedom we have in this country was purchased by sacrifice.

Ultimate sacrifice.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."

John 15:13

This isn't something to argue about. It is just reality.

There are many memories in May.

My hope for you is that you find time this month to remember.

Here at the shoppe May means busy.

We love it when the local small businesses are in the shoppe!! It is such a great atmosphere and we know you love to sip and shop and see all the amazing talent represented!! We know you will find that thing wonderful thing you've been searching for...

Then - of course - we are all about Rhody Days!

What a wonderful celebration of our amazing home here on the Oregon Coast!

It's the time for our town to shine and make everyone wish they lived here!!

So we do not have too many classes this month, but the ones we have are fabulous and your won't want to miss anything!!

This month our coffee & tea blessings will honor those who have served us as we donate to the Gary Sinese Foundation and the work they do for veterans.
